Multicultural community groups: apply now to be part of SA's 2017 Multicultural Festival
Multicultural community groups are invited to be part of one of South Australia’s largest and most diverse multicultural events on 2017.
Applications are now open for groups to receive grants to participate in the 2017 Multicultural Festival. The festival, coordinated by the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion, will be held in Rundle Mall on Sunday 5 November.
The festival is a great opportunity to celebrate South Australia's multiculturalism, providing multicultural community groups the chance to showcase their cultures and traditions, and all South Australians the chance to experience the richness of our state's cultural diversity.
More than 60 multicultural community organisations will participate in this year's event, through art, craft, food, dance, and music. Up to 80,000 people will attend the festival to enjoy the vibrant colours, sounds and tastes of multicultural South Australia.
South Australian multicultural community groups, including well-established communities and those newly arrived, are encouraged to apply for a grant to participate in the festival. The grants will be open until 30 April 2017.
