Country Opportunities

The demographic diversity of our State provides a range of unique, relaxed and friendly lifestyles together with a rich and rewarding experience that comes from working with regional communities.

Our Department has offices spanning far North as Cooper Pedy and as far South as Mt Gambier.  There are also opportunities to work with Indigenous communities in remote regional areas across the State.

Working in a rural or remote community can provide a unique lifestyle with benefits which include:

  • developing relationships within a small community environment where you immediately see the results of your work
  • opportunities to work across a range of areas
  • opportunities to develop or enhance your leadership skills
  • opportunities to pursue new activities and interests
  • the natural attractions of rural and remote locations.
