The South Australian Housing Trust (SAHT) Board, through The South Australian Housing Trust Act 1995, is responsible to the Minister for Housing for overseeing the operations of SAHT. The Board has a close relationship with the Minister and the South Australian Affordable Housing Trust (SAAHT) Board and meets as required to discuss key issues. The SAHT Board reports to the Minister for Housing against a Performance Agreement.
Under the SAHT Act, the Board consists of seven members:

SAHT Audit & Finance Committee
The SAHT Audit Committee is a sub-committee of the Board and oversees internal audit, the risk management framework and business review processes.
South Australian Affordable Housing Trust Board
The South Australian Affordable Housing Trust (SAAHT) Board was created to help deliver more affordable homes for South Australians who are locked out of the housing market.
The SAAHT Board is a sub-committee of the South Australian Housing Trust Board under Section 18 of the South Australian Housing Trust Act 1995. Membership is made up of: :
