The Department for Families and Communities (DFC) is now the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI). Families SA, including the child protection and family support functions, is now part of the new Department for Education and Child Development. Youth Justice remains with DCSI and the Department now includes  Multicultural SA, Northern Connections, Office for the Southern Suburbs, Office for Volunteers, Office for Women, Office for Youth and Social Inclusion. Homelessness Innovation Fund

The Homelessness Innovation Fund (HIF) distributes funds from the National Agreement Housing Affordability. The HIF is administered by Community Benefit SA and is a joint initiative with Housing SA Homelessness Strategy.

Funding is provided to develop and promote innovation and sustainable services to assist people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Applications for Round 3 have closed. Seven applications were received requesting a total of $345,000. Five projects were funded for a total of $200,000.
