The aim of this project is to assess outcomes of the Self-Managed Funding program in order to contribute to program improvements.

Self-managed funding is a major service initiative in Disability Services, DCSI, indicative of the agency’s focus on enabling increased independence and self-determination for its clients. The evaluation includes an assessment of the impact of consumer-controlled services for the consumer, carers, service providers and government. It will provide valuable information upon which to base policy and planning decisions.

This project is due for completion in early 2012.
