The Research Unit provides expert advice about research and evaluation:

• planning and development
• methodology
• ethics
• contract management.

The Unit is the entry point for external researchers interested in conducting research or evaluation studies in DCSI. We facilitate consultation between researchers and relevant areas within the department. We also manage most research and evaluation contracts on behalf of DCSI.

All researchers should consult with the Research Unit before commencing any research or evaluation projects in DCSI.

All departmental staff planning, procuring or conducting an evaluation should contact the Research Unit for advice.
