Cost of Living Concession payments for renters starting this week

About 30,000 South Australian tenants on low or fixed incomes will start receiving the State Government’s Cost of Living Concession from today, 8 February.

The Cost of Living Concession is paid directly into bank accounts to help with expenses like energy and water bills.

Payments of up to $101.40 will be made to eligible South Australians on low or fixed incomes.

Tenants who received the concession last year will automatically receive this year’s payment if their circumstances remain unchanged.

If you received the payment last year and your circumstances have changed, please contact the ConcessionsSA hotline on 1800 307 758 to update your details.

It is expected that all payments will be made by the end of February 2018.
