Recruitment Pools

The Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) depends on an agile workforce to deliver its crucial and complex services. Pool recruitment is a useful way to attract and retain talented, skilled and qualified people to meet the department’s workforce needs.

A pool consists of registered applicants who have been deemed suitable for consideration for roles or groups of roles across DCSI, and who can be referred for vacancies as they arise. This prevents the need to re-advertise a vacancy, resulting in more efficient, cost-effective and flexible recruitment and selection processes.
